From October 10 to 20, 2026, Germany-wide Mental Health Week will take place. This year’s theme, “Together rather than side by side – for a society in which every mind counts,” focuses on openness, mutual support and access to psychosocial services.
Mental health is also a shared responsibility in the workplace. It is reflected in the way we communicate with one another, recognize stress and make support accessible. An attentive conversation, low-threshold access to counselling or an open approach to mental health can be important steps in supporting people in their everyday working lives.

Strengthening mental health in the workplace
Mental Health Week highlights the diversity of mental health experiences and the importance of a supportive environment. For organizations, this means making mental health part of everyday working life – through healthy leadership, reliable support services and a culture in which questions and challenges can be addressed openly.
With these events, we aim to provide practical impulses, share knowledge and encourage dialogue about mental health in the workplace.
