We have combined Dr Jim White's tried-and-tested StressControl concept with outdoor exercise to create an effective tool for reducing feelings of stress.
Studies show that the StressControl concept is at least as effective and sustainable as cognitive behavioural therapy and one-to-one stress coaching1.
Research on exercising and spending time outdoors shows that:2
• Spending time outdoors has a proven positive impact in just a short period of time
• Stress hormones are reduced and our mood improves
• Concentration increases
• Learned skills are consolidated
• Creative ideas and thought association are more successful.
Exercise is like medicine! Exercise is not just good for our physical health. It does wonders for our brains, too. Getting outside and doing some exercise is like hitting the "Reset button" on our brains.
Objective of this seminar:
• Encourage participants to make changes in order to manage stress and achieve healthy self-management
• Learn proven methods for effectively managing stress
• Draw up a roadmap of ways to implement these skills as part of a daily routine
• (Re-)discover the stress-reducing effect of nature and exercise
We have planned a session for the start of October (6-8 October) in Tyrol as an open seminar for individual employees.
If you are interested in offering a larger number of your employees this seminar series as a closed seminar, we would be more than happy to offer other dates closer to your company or the great outdoors.
