Once a year, European EAP providers get together for the EAEF Conference. This year, the conference will focus on the German EAP markets, what clients think an EAP involves and individual reports from the perspective of companies that began using employee assistance programmes or occupational social counselling several years ago.
The motto of the EAEF (Employee Assistance European Forum) conference is "Thinking outside the box – because EAP is so much more!". The goal is to encourage dialogue with clients and among EAP providers and to provide news on trends, standards and challenges on the market. There will also be presentations on a number of different providers and partnerships. Other topics will include international networks of EAP providers and how to generate synergies.
There will be extensive discussion of the requirements and current concerns of clients: Where are companies currently feeling the squeeze? What needs do HR departments have? What are the potential solutions? How is EAP growing on the German market – including in comparison to trends worldwide?
The presentations on client perspectives, in particular, are hotly anticipated. Users will talk about their experiences, present internal schemes and initiatives, and offer insights into "best practices".
