INSITE undergoes a data protection audit once a year. We were first certified back in 2013 and undergo recertification or new certifications at regular intervals. We successfully passed the audit this year, too.
All company processes are reviewed by renowned certification firm DQS GmbH ever year regarding aspects of data protection and IT security. By doing this, we can ensure that we provide the best possible protection and security for the personal data we store. The DQS certificate is valid for three years and is monitored during an annual audit. We successfully passed a surveillance audit in November 2017.
The new EU regulation on data protection (EU General Data Protection Regulation /GDPR) came into force in May 2018, replacing the previous data protection regulation. INSITE will undergo a new EU data protection audit according to the new requirements.
Not only does INSITE fulfil the criteria of the German Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz), but we also roll out new security measures continuously in order to protect personal data for our clients.
