The Frankfurt Future Congress brings together three key issues of the near future: digitisation, new work and sustainability. INSITE will discuss the future expectations of managers in a workshop. Come and join the discussion!
-- UPDATE: The Congress will be held on 23 and 24 February 2021 --
In close cooperation with the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences, participants will be taken to a number of different thinkspaces. This workshop format will take a closer look at expectations, issues and needs in the years to come.
INSITE invites you to come and think about the following subject:
"Social skills are overrated: Do managers really not need empathy anymore?"
People have been trying for years to coach managers in social skills or even in showing empathy towards employees through seminars and other initiatives. In this thinkspace, we address the theory that (a) that was not overly successful, (b) managers have sufficient social skills and (c) these efforts may even be counter-productive to core management responsibilities. This thinkspace will tackle the question of what companies and their managers need in order to overcome change in society, work and cooperation.
